MiOra provides free HIPAA certificate training and free CITI Research Compliance training to the interested students. The training programs are from the University of Florida. The training takes 5-7 hours to complete. Upon successful completion of the program, the student receives a downloadable certificate; which is valid nationally.
The Nuremberg Code is a set of ten ethical principles established in 1947 following the Nuremberg trials, which were held after World War II, that set the foundation for modern research ethics by emphasizing the absolute necessity of voluntary informed consent from human subjects in medical experiments, particularly in response to the horrific human experiments conducted by Nazi doctors on concentration camp prisoners; it is considered a landmark document in the history of research ethics.
