While at Cal State LA, I was blessed to be an intern at MiOra. I was able to do research and I was able to learn so much about Multiple Myeloma and the disparities the exist in this disease state. This experience gave me a better understanding of what it takes to do research and it showed me how disparities can have a major impact on populations.
