Scholarship awards to practicing architects under 35 years of age with educational or professional experience in MA for foreign travel and study in architecture.

Grants to Individuals Program
Grants to practicing architects under 35 years of age for foreign travel and study in architecture. Also, grants to faculty members in all NAAB accredited schools of architecture in the U.S. for travel anywhere in the world.
Rotch Travelling Scholarship
Awarded annually to provide for eight months of foreign travel and study in the field of architecture. First place award is in the amount of $35,000 for 8 to 12 months of foreign travel. Applicants must be U.S. citizens who have either received a professional degree from an accredited U.S. school of architecture and have one year of full-time professional experience in a MA architecture firm as of Jan. 1 of the competition year or received a professional degree from an accredited MA school of architecture and have one year of full-time professional experience in any architecture firm as of Jan. 1 of the competition year.
Rotch Travelling Studio
Grants to faculty members in schools of architecture for study by their students in a foreign country. Grants are provided to enable faculty member to lead a “studio” for a group of students from the faculty member’s school of architecture. The annual foreign-travel grant that provides up to $20,000 toward enhancing students’ architectural education.
