MiOra Health Literacy Survey In Los Angeles Revealed Opportunities For Education

MiOra Health Literacy Survey In Los Angeles Revealed Opportunities For Education Miora | January 21, 2020 MiOra interns conducted a survey among 43 adult females during Wilmington Health Fair. More than half of the participants were Hispanic. A significantly greater percentage of Hispanic females reported not being familiar with diseases that affect their community and can be prevented by vaccines, including meningitis, hepatitis, HPV, and pneumonia.  MiOra intern Kathrine  Kricorian conducted the data analyses and will present the findings at the Ventura County Science Fair. There is an opportunity for education!
