IMSA is a residential high school with outreach to rural IL and a strong emphasis on STEM.
Thank you to speakers Dr. Emmet Hirsch, Prof of OB/Gyn at Univ. of Chicago, VC at NorthShore Univ Health Sys. and the author of “The Education of Dr. Montefiore”, and from the Shriners Hosp. Dr. Haluk Altiok, Assoc. Prof. Peds Orthopedics at Rush Univ. and Dir. of Spina bifida Center, Molly Grant, Peds Nurse Practitioner and Dr. Joseph Krzak, Assist. Prof. of Physical Therapy at the Western Univ.
After an intimate session with the mentors, the students visited Dr. Krzak’s laboratory and learned about cutting edge motion-research.
