MiOra partnered with Mr. Philip May, Regional Occupational Program/Career Technical Educational (ROP/CTE) Science teacher at Compton High School, and taught students study skills based on Lean Six Sigma Principals.
Lean Six Sigma is a set of tools and techniques used by companies like Toyota and General Electric for best results.
The students actively participated in learning about Poka Yoke (not to confuse with Pokemon!) and practiced Lean Six Sigma skills to improve their grades. These skills can be applied to any activity, from throwing a party to graduating with a 4.0 GPA.
Mr. May and the students then showed MiOra the impressive solar powered race boat they built and gave a tour of the beautiful Compton High School campus.

A huge thank you to teachers, Ms. Callista Odibo and Mr. Philip May, for providing this opportunity to Compton High School students!
